Training Programs
1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Licensure:
Our CNA program equips students with the fundamental skills needed for entry-level positions in healthcare. The curriculum covers essential nursing skills, patient care, and prepares students for the state licensure exam.
2. GAP Program (Bridge to Pediatric Nursing):
This program assists the LPN or RN without pediatric experience to gain knowledge and training to meet the six-month pediatric experience requirement for Private Duty Nursing. Emphasis will be on caring for medically fragile pediatric clients with chronic conditions requiring skilled nursing services in the home and school settings.
3. Pediatric Nursing Assistant Certificate:
The Pediatric Nursing Assistant Certification program focuses on the unique healthcare needs of medically fragile and special needs children. Students learn specialized skills in pediatric care, including effective communication, technology care, and strategies for promoting the well-being of pediatric patients.
